About the Accommodation

2 Bed Flat Cockermouth is located in a quiet court just back form Main St. It has 2 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen diner with a comfortable lounge area. There is a flat-screen TV with streaming services and the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, washing machine and microwave. Towels and bed linen in each of the 2 double rooms and a separate bathroom with bath / shower. A high chair is also provided for little guests.

T&C's

We are unable to accept pets of any description due to another resident in the building with an allergy. Guests who bring a pet are liable for a deep clean of the flat and the communal areas (£450 +VAT).

Flat 9 is non smoking.

We do not permit parties as it is a quiet residential area with other residents to consider. 

Full refunds are given for cancellations up to 14 days prior to your arrival date. 50% for cancellations between 7-13 days prior to arrival and no refunds for cancellations less than 7 days prior to your arrival. However if we are able to find other guests for the full period you book you will receive a full refund within 28 days of your original departure date.


Please ensure your holiday insurance covers any eventualities.

Neighbourhood

Cockermouth is the birth place of world renowned poet William Wordsworth. His house is just few doors down and open to visitors much of the year. The town can also claim a more notorious character as its own, Fletcher Christian. The famous mutineer who led the mutiny abord HMS Bounty. There's a pub in the high street named after him serving local and international ales and beers. A short walk from Irene court and you will find coffee shops and tea rooms, antique and vintage shops along with a supermarket a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of local walks that can be started in and around the town for all abilities.

The beauty of the Lake District is only a short distance away. Regardless of the season, the Lakes are ideal for walkers, climbers and cyclist as well as those who enjoy water sports.
